I’m so excited about ShotStack, it seems to be exactly what I’m looking for after trolling through what feels like a dozen competitors.
The pay-as-you-go plan is great, even if it’s expensive. It made me sign up and get to work.
And the smoothness of the platform overall is just unmatched. Seriously.
But… there’s a problem.
I’m using ShotStack to automate videos on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc. and a good way to improve metrics on there is to add a title at the top of the video. These titles almost always have emojis.
But you can’t add emojis in text.
I mean maybe I’m using the wrong font or something but I saw an issue on here from a couple of years back that says it just doesn’t work.
And I know I could just add a PNG of it, but when you’re relying on an automated system to run through the hundreds of emoji types that’s just not going to cut it. Not to mention the difficulty of placing them properly.
So are there any plans to implement this functionality? Or am I blind and there is a way.
When I render out it’s just a blank box.
